Bible Study – Come and See

Purpose: Saint Helen’s Bible Studies enable men, women, and children to study Sacred Scripture, using the “Come and See ~ Catholic Bible Study,” the Bible, and Catechism of the Catholic Church. We will study “The Synoptics – Matthew, Mark and Luke” in 2020 – 2021.

Responsibilities: Pray to the Holy Spirit, watch a 25 minute video presentation, and then go over your answers to the home study questions in a small group discussion. Books are available for $25 for adults, $10 for children. Scholarships are available. Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary.

Time Commitment: Each weekly session, from October to April, is about an hour to 75 minutes. Participants also spend some time at home preparing for next week’s lesson.

Women and Children:

Ages 3+ are welcome on Tuesdays from 9:15 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Children learn about Jesus through stories and crafts, while their mothers study and share.
