Each year we reach out to the current ministry leader we have on file and mail them a letter requesting them to reserve their meeting space for the upcoming season. We consider the “season” to be September through May. We also include a copy of their current information printed in the parish handbook and request that any changes be submitted to the parish office.
Keep in mind, when booking meeting space for the season we have a hierarchy of what goes into the system. Religious Education and Sacraments are booked first. School bookings requiring the parish hall are second. Diocesan programs are given a high consideration if their dates are approved by the campus representative. Ministry bookings that are weekly and / or more often are then put in the system, especially if they require the parish hall. Smaller ministry bookings are then entered. Outside ministries or special bookings are given last priority and are entered when all of the St. Helen ministries are in. We will confirm your booking when we have everything in. This is NOT a first come, first served system. We typically send the letter in May with a deadline to get your request in by June. We spend June and July entering the bookings and trying our best to get everyone the space they requested. Please be patient.

All bus requests must be approved by Debbie Irish, if being submitted for school use, or Laura Lewis, if being submitted for parish ministry use. At this time we only have one driver, so we are limited to their availability. Please download this form and review the fees and rules. Submit your approved form to Will Heady at the parish office.
