The Christmas Giving Tree Program is a yearly outreach that helps provide gifts and essential items to children and families in need during the holiday season. Community members are invited to participate by selecting a wish and donating a gift, helping bring joy and hope to those we serve at Christmas.

Christmas Assistance for Families

Families who need assistance with Christmas gifts for their children under 12 years old may sign up for an interview at Mercy House.

Beginning September 28, 2026, a sign-up link will be available to schedule an appointment. Interviews will take place at:

The Catholic Church is the largest Christian denomination in the United States, accounting for about 25 percent of the country’s population. As the Church continues to grow, there are many people, who for one reason or another, have stopped actively participating in the life of the Church and attending Mass. More than ever, people need God, but sadly, many have lost sight of the treasures of the Catholic Faith. We can see the reality of our fallen-away brothers and sisters not only in our nation, but even in our own families and neighborhoods.

Perhaps you or someone you know are in this situation and do not know how to come back to the Church. The first thing you need to know is that you are always welcome back. The Church misses you and hopes that you will choose to come home as an active member. To help people with this journey we are beginning a small welcome group meeting starting September 21 at 10 am. Providing a Safe Environment for Our Children to Grow in Faith, Family, and Fun!

Each summer, St. Helen hosts a dynamic and faith-filled Don Bosco Summer Camp that brings children together for spiritual growth, friendship, and joyful activities in a safe and supportive environment.

Through daily prayer, sacraments, and interactive fun, children not only grow in their Catholic faith but also create lifelong memories.
