Youth Group

PURPOSE: A comprehensive youth ministry (Middle School grades 6-8 and High School, grades 9-12) with a strong focus on relationships with the focus on God, Church, and service to one another.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: Youth Ministry will create opportunities for our middle school students to encounter Jesus Christ and IGNITE a passion within for Christ and His Word. Group meets 2 times per month on Friday evenings 6pm-8pm in the Upper Room of the CLC. Saturday morning service opportunities available each month. Register at the Religious Education Office.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Youth Ministry will also bring High School students together monthly on a Saturday to accomplish a "Service Saturday". A community service project is planned with lunch to follow then an uplifting and fun afternoon finishing off with Mass. Great for school service hours and Confirmation service projects! ST. HELEN YOUTH ON A MISSION: Inviting high school students to a deeper focus based on the Beatitudes and Corporal works of mercy to serve others. A summer mission trip is planned each year in partnership with Catholic Heart work camp or Alive In You organizations. High School graduates and young adults are invited to attend a summer Bahama Mission trip. Leadership training, planning meetings and fundraising are needed to prepare for a successful Mission trip.
