Diabetes Self-Management – Stanford University: This workshops runs for 6 weeks for 2 ½ hours each week. Learn how to deal with problems that arise from the effects of diabetes. Understand nutrition labels, recognize warning signs before they become a major complication, etc.

Wednesdays – April 28 – June 2, 2021 from 10:00 – 12:30.

A Matter of Balance: This workshop is focused on Fall Prevention. We guide you through an educational component that helps you become more aware of fall hazards around you such as medications and obstacles in your home. The second half of the class is focused on strengthen those muscles needed should you go into a fall motion. We will discuss and work on flexibility, strength, and balance. This class meets for 8 sessions for 2 hours each session.

Monday and Friday – May 3 – May 28, 2021 from 10:00-12:00.

Tai Chi -Moving for Better Balance –  This workshops runs for 12 weeks, 1 hour each week,  2x’s a week. Participants will build strength, relieve stress and build confidence to reduce the fear of falling. We can have 12-15 participants.

Tuesdays and Thursdays – May 4 – July 15, 2021 from 11:00 – 12:00

Living Healthy- Chronic Disease Self-Management Program – Stanford University. This workshop runs for 6 weeks for 2 ½ hours each week. The goal of the program is to support and provide tools to people who live with chronic conditions, it will help improve nutrition, manage pain and reduce stress and depression. This workshop requires 10-16 participants.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers: This workshop runs for 6 weeks for 1 ½ hours each week. The goal of the program is to give caregivers the tools to care for themselves as they are caring for their loved ones. We build stronger caregivers, while providing support and resources.
