A discussion on the beauty of creation. Insightful presentation on Church teachings on marriage, same-sex attraction, gender identity. Meaningful for parents and all adults.

St. Helen Respect for Life Ministry is pleased to present their second Dignity of Life talk.  Our speakers, Dr. Julie Hamilton and Fr. Matthew DeGance will focus on understanding and responding both biblically and compassionately to homosexuality and gender identity confusion.

Dr. Julie Hamilton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in South Florida. She has been practicing marriage and family therapy in various settings since 1995.  In addition to her experience in many professional organizations, Dr. Hamilton specializes in understanding homosexuality from a perspective of Scripture, science, and childhood development. She has provided a number of interviews in various media outlets, speaks in churches, colleges, and schools and also conducts seminars for pastors and Christian leaders.

Fr. Matthew DeGance, pastor at St. Helen will provide comments following Dr. Hamilton, regarding the Church’s direction on these issues facing our families and children today.  Fr. DeGance will reference the important work by Pope St. John Paul II, the Theology of the Body.

There will be time for questions following the presentations.
