Because this is the flu season, we ask that everyone be considerate of their neighbor while celebrating Mass. 

If you are ill, please do not exchange the sign of peace and please refrain from receiving the Precious Blood from the Cup at Communion. 

At the Sign of Peace, a nod of the head and a few words of blessing could be used in place of the handshake. 

We appreciate your consideration in this matter, as do your fellow parishioners.
