Vacation Bible School
Purpose: Teach and nurture children, inside and out of the parish, entering kindergarten through seventh grade, on the love of Jesus Christ through the use of Bible stories, songs games, crafts and snacks.
Talents Needed: Ability to instruct students in a creative manner, enthusiasm, ability to evangelize by spreading the word of God to His precious children, artistic ability, carpentry skills to help build props, responsible teens (entering grades 8-12) to assist where needed, Diocesan Protecting God’s Children certification for all adults (training and background screening provided).
Time Commitment: Varies for preparation work, one week long morning program.
When: Preparation work begins in early February, with VBS held each year.
Where: Parish Center, school classrooms, picnic tables, Christian Living Center
