Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass

Summary: A devotion to Jesus and the belief that He is fully present in the Eucharist.

Responsibilities: Distribution of the Eucharist at our liturgies.

Time Commitment: Varies depending on schedule. Training is provided quarterly.

Homebound Ministry and Hospital Ministry

Summary: Compassion, kindness and love of the Eucharist.

Responsibilities: Distribution of the Holy Eucharist to parishioners who are confined to their homes and the hospital. You choose which area to serve.

Time Commitment: As desired. Training, commissioning and background screening provided.

Nursing Home Ministry

Summary: Compassion, kindness and love of the Eucharist.

Responsibilities: Distribution of the Holy Eucharist to parishioners who are in nursing homes and assisted living        facilities.

Time Commitment: As desired. Training, commissioning and background screening provided.

Mass Procedures

Administering to the Sick

 

 Purpose: Distribution of the Holy Eucharist at our liturgies and to the home bound, hospitals and nursing homes.

Talents Needed: A devotion to Jesus and the belief that He resides fully in the Eucharist.

Time Commitment: Varies depending on each individual’s assignments.

When: Training is provided quarterly.

Where: Church and the Christian Living Center
